Excellent experience. Picked up from our hotel with 6 others by our guide who made the drive to Etna interesting by telling us about the villages, churches as well as the volcano. We stopped many times to see different features, all explained by our knowledgeable guide. Plenty of walking over black lava ash and among solidified lava. Spectacular views and features. Greatly recommended.

I’m happy to share my very positive experience about Etna trip organized by Geo Etna Explorer. It was 2000m trip option for me and my 10yrs old daughter. We spent a nice time with Mr.Fabio who is a knowledgable and nice person.. he showed to us all main attractions and had a perfect approach to motivate us to move further withe the plan and not miss any of the important places there in the top of Etna. We highly recommend going with Geo Etna if you wish to visit Mount Etna. We were picked up from our hotel by our friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide, Mr Fabio. His passion for Mount Etna was obvious and he showed us many different sights: extinct craters, different types of lava flows (Aa and Pahahoe), the history of the different eruptions and lava flows, dagala landscapes, lava tunnels, etc. He also explained about the plants and trees growing on the hillsides and pointed out things that we would not otherwise have noticed such as the fresh (two week old) volcanic deposits on top of the vegetation, and entertaining anecdotes about Sicilian life and the villages we passed through en route to Etna. The day was very professionally organised with excellent attention to safety, attention to detail (such as checking our shoe sizes in advance should we wish to hire hiking boots) and it was excellent to receive the personal attention of being in a small group (just five of us).

Excellent service! We got picked up at our hotel and driven up to the vulcano. We had our own guide and explained and taught us much about the area. We were also driven right back to the doorstep of our hotel. This was a fabulous experience!

Mount Etna Excursion
The whole Mount Etna trip with this company was a great experience. Very knowledgeable guide and very informative. Worth doing this trip to enjoy the magic of the landscape and it’s history. Collection from the hotel was prompt. I would recommend this excursion and this company, very reasonably priced for the trip and all transport involved.

Beautiful site, interesting info, convenient travel
Fabio was very well educated and informed about the science behind the volcano, as well as its history. We had a nice amount of time exploring the Silvestri crater and then went a little off-road away from all the people, which was nice and felt more natural. It was also very appreciated to be picked up directly from our hotel.

Great day out

great tour of Mt Etna
Just returned from a fabulous half day tour with Fabio. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, Fabio, our guide has excellent english and amazing understanding of the geology of Mt Etna.Our kids loved the cave and crater visit and all adults were impressed by Fabio’s knowledge of not only Mt Etna, but the regions we travelled through to reach our destination. Top day, not to be missed.

4×4 Half day Mount Etna tour
We had a fabulous time on this trip. Fabio our guide was very informative and was able to tell us about the the different lava flows and what eruptions the rocks were from. We visited an extinct crator and went inside a lava tube. I was travelling with my husband, mother and young daughter and this was a great trip for all of us.

Fabio rocks
This is my first time to Sicily and was happy to have Fabio as a guide to the volcano. I like the fact that it was only a small group of 5 also Fabio was able to pick me up at my flat that I was renting and that was very convenient. He always had a smile and willing to help specially when I lost track of time and needed to return my Vespa bu8:30p. He called the rental agency from his mobile to ask them not to close for me.
